The 4-star Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel is a newly renovated Tudor style mansion. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) from Stansted Airport and has scenic lake and countryside views. The hotel boasts 31 larger than average bedrooms, all with a spacious walk-in wet room, a flat screen TV, teacoffee, desk and free high-speed internet. Since July 2012 the property also offers 12 standard double and single rooms in the Hallingbury House Annex. These rooms , which offer fantastic value for money , have double or single beds, flat screen TV's working desks, teacoffee making facilities and ensuite bathrooms have been completely refurbished and finished to a high standard in contemporary style. Phone and internet service will be added towards the end of Summer 2012. From the M11 Motorway (from M25).Leave the M11 Motorway at Junction 8 (Stansted AirportBishops Stortford), then at roundabout take the 5th exit onto Dunmow Road - B1256 (signposted Takeley). Turn almost immediately right at the Esso Petrol Station which will take you into TileKiln Road (signposted Great and Little Hallingbury). Proceed under the bridge at the sharp left hand bend, and continue for about another 500 yards. Great Hallingbury Manor is on your left. From the M11 Motorway (from Cambridge)Leave the M11 Motorway at Junction 8 (Stansted AirportBishops Stortford), then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Dunmow Road - B1256 (signposted Takeley). Branch left, then at Priory Wood Roundabout take 1st exit onto the A120 (signposted Bishops Stortford, Cambridge). At roundabout take 1st exit onto Dunmow Road - B1256 (signposted Takeley). Turn almost immediately right at the Esso Petrol Station which will take you into TileKiln Road (signposted Great and Little Hallingbury).
